The ultra lightweight Hexpads are breathable and flexible, conforming to one's natural body movements. Due to their versatile nature, these Knee, Elbow and Calf Protective Pads are suitable to be used for almost any activity. However, they are not recommended for court sports.

McDavid Hexpad Materials

The McDavid Hexpad Knee, Elbow and Calf Protective Pads consist of a 85% nylon /15% Spandex sleeve and EVA foam laminated pads. These materials allow them to move with the body, without restricting movement.

How Do Hexpad and hDc Technologies Work?

McDavid's patented Hexpad technology consists of hexagonal cutouts of a shock absorbing athletic foam, adhered to the textile of the sports apparel. This allows for a lightweight and flexible garment, which is very effective in providing protection against impacts.

All McDavid Hexpad garments also employ hDc technology. This makes moisture spread widely throughout the synthetic textiles, allowing it to evaporate quicker. This enables the athlete to better control their body temperature, saving valuable energy in the process.
