If you're looking to get additional support following an injury to the ankle, it's important that you find a brace that will stabilise and compress the area sufficiently. The Aircast AirSport Ankle Brace is designed with foam-filled aircells to cushion and support the ankle. This provides you with a level of compression that's tailored to your needs and ankle shape, making the recovery process as speedy as possible so you can get back on your feet sooner.

What's Included?

  • 1 x Ankle Brace

Which Size Aircast AirSport Ankle Brace Is Right for Me?

The Aircast AirSport Support is available in five different sizes. To find the right size for your ankle, simply take your UK shoe size and match it against the sizing chart below.

Size UK Male Shoe Size UK Female Shoe Size
Extra Small Under Size 4 Under Size 3
Small Size 4 - 6.5 Size 4.5 - 7.5
Medium Size 7.5 - 10.5 Size 8.5 - 10
Large Sizes 11.5 - 13.5 N/A
Extra Large Over Size 14.5 N/A

What If I Fall Between Sizes?

If your shoe size means you fall between brace sizes, it is likely that braces on either side of the sizing boundary will fit you.

Ankle sprains can differ in severity, and are generally categorised into one of three grades. The Aircast AirSport Ankle Brace is suitable for ankle sprain grades one and two, which can be identified as follows:

  • Ankle Sprain Grade 1: Sore ankle with slight swelling; your ligament may be overstretched
  • Ankle Sprain Grade 2: Prolonged pain and swelling; unable to bear weight on your injured ankle; some bruising from a partial ligament tear

At first, it felt so bulky, but after wearing it a few times for playing sport, it's actually quite comfortable and it gives the support I need. I found this is more comfortable than the Aircast A60.
